Sunday was a hiking day for 🎶just the two of us 🎵😅

After several days of heavy rain, the sun was finally shining; perfect for an autumn hike.

The colors are changing into a mesmerizing mosaic of orange, yellow and red. The smell of moist soil is so refreshing and the air so pure; the perfect autumn vibes 🍂🍁🍄🍂🍁🍄

We wanted to do the full “Trail des Crêtes” at our own path, but as we didn’t have enough time, we only managed to do half of it.

This demanding mountain running trail offers more than 1000 meters of positive elevation gain from the Roc d’Orsay gondola, till the Grand Chamossaire, the highest peak of Villars. The trail requests the strength of your legs before descending via Bretaye.

The trail is 12km long; it’s classified as a difficult hike given the elevation gain of 986m.

The views are really gorgeous; the best reward after the effort.
