Yesterday we e-biked 42 km from the village of Fleurier in the canton of Neuchâtel till Noiraigue (round trip). We took the bike path no. 94 which continues all the way to Neuchâtel (38km one way). It’s an easy, mostly flat and no-car path that runs by the river Areuse, we’ll known by its impressive wild gorges (see dedicated post). A forest downhill path brings you to Noiraigue and it’s mythic stone bridge. When we first visited the gorges, after 12km of hike, we missed this bridge but promised to come back. It’s really as beautiful as the pictures I’ve seen before.
Despite the light rain, we enjoyed very much the ride and the uphill path was almost effortless with the e-bike.
