Helicopter flight over the Alps – VS – Family adventures in Switzerland

Yesterday’s helicopter flight over the snow-covered Alps was simply startling. We couldn’t have had better weather conditions; the visibility was ideal, so we were able to admire the five 4,000m high peaks (Cervin or Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Zinarothorn, La Dent-Blanche and L’Obergabelhorn) as well as the state-of-the-art dam of La Grande Dixence (almost as tall as the Eiffel Tower). Far away we even appreciated the Mont Blanc. It was a 30m flight with HELI-ALPS; a very professional and specialized company based in Sion, Valais. It’s difficult to find the right words to express the magnificence and majesty of such panorama.
