The Vullierens Gardens in the Morges hills are an absolute oasis of beauty and fresh air.
The castle is the precious guardian of 30 hectares of gardens which are covered with almost 50,000 flowers in the spring, mainly irises.
Open from May to October (different schedules by season), the garden is a riot of colour with more than 50,000 flowers representing more than 400 varieties.
Although the house itself is not open to the public, the gardens have a lot to offer, with a collection of about 85 sculptures which changes every year, local wine tastings and a restaurant.
The castle; it’s gardens and wine yards constitute a historical heritage dating from the 13th century.
The Domaine du Château de Vullierens has belonged to the same family for more than 700 years.
