So happy we managed to go to the Morat / Murten light festival; it was magical, mystical and absolutely lovely; better than expected. 👏🏻
Bringing light to these somehow obscure and uncertain times was very welcomed.
Despite going on a Saturday, the day before the closure and with a very inviting weather who brought a big crowd, the organization of the event was irreproachable. 👍🏻👍🏻
During 12 days, the Old Town of Murten turned into a lighting show of superlatives. The artistic productions on buildings, in the streets and on the towers of the town immersed the visitors into a mysterious and magic world.
Looking forward to what they’ll put together next year.
The little medieval town of Murten on the south-east bank of the lake of the same name has preserved its original appearance, with the picturesque alleyways of the Old Town and the pleasant shady arcades.
