Yesterday we discovered with our friends a very easy and accessible hike along the Lac de Lessoc in the Gruyère region.
Between lake and forest, this 3km itinerary is suitable for everyone and offers a loop doable in about 1 hour and without any difficulty .
Starting from Montbovon, the path joins the lakeside in a few minutes. The banks of the lake can be walked on in both directions, but it is advisable to start on the left bank and not by the passage behind the hydroelectric plant.
The trail leads through fields and forests, offering superb views of the surrounding peaks. The reflections on the artificial Lac de Lessoc animate the landscape as the seasons go by.
Several benches welcome the visitor for a moment of relaxation and contemplation.
As the lake was quite low, we saw several families doing picnic on the rocks by the lakeshore.
There is a magnificent wooden bridge which offers great views.
On the way back home, we stopped in Chateau d’Oex for a lovely picnic with awesome views.
