Few years ago my family visited us from Mexico during the winter holidays. I wanted them to try some exciting winter activities, so we did one of the longest luge tracks in Switzerland! This 7 km long track in the resort of Les Diablerets, in the Alpes vaudoises, is great fun for families and friends!

Pick up a “Davos” luge and board the Diablerets Express cablecar. This luge track meets the highest safety standards and is completely separate from the ski slopes to avoid any crossover. Whether you’re with children or friends, you’re guaranteed to have the biggest laughs of your holidays.

It was their first time sledding and it took them a few minutes to understand how to control the luge, but at the same time, those minutes were probably the funniest too.

At the end of the run, I will never forget the happiness in my father’s face when he told me that I made him travel back in time when he was a kid and used to ran downhill in a wheel kart made of wood. He simply loved the experience.

Recommended age: from 3 years old with an adult / From 8 years old without an accompanying person
The track is suitable for skate sleds and skate bobsleds. Plastic bobsleds, buoys and plastic plates are prohibited. You can rent the sled down by the cablecar.

More recently we did the same run with our buddies and after, we stopped to do a wild fondue, drink some wine and prepare some Semla (cream-filled cardamom bun; a typical Swedish dessert).
