The alpine swimming pool of Les Marécottes nestled in the rocks at 1,100 meters is in complete harmony with the natural environment. There is a small children’s swimming area in the pool, but then it becomes deep very quickly, making it perfect to jump from the rocks. It’s really not a conventional swimming pool; you almost feel as if swimming in a mountain lake in the middle of a larch forest. There is a restaurant and coffee area by the pool. Opened only during summer, the pool is heated by solar panels, but the temperature is still quite fresh.
