From the 10th to 19th December, magical creatures and feiries were hosted by the forest of Estavayer-le-Lac!
A night walk in the forest enchanted by a play of lights and sounds all along the way.
Fortunately the organizers were complete victims of their huge success, but we suffered the consequences.
It was certainly a bad idea to go on a Saturday, but I didn’t know what to expect 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
We had to be EXTREMELY PACIENT as the line at the Parking to get into the shuffle vans (that’s the staring point) was the longest I’ve ever been in my life 😫.
It took us 1.5 hours to get in the shuffle, then 30 more minutes to reach the entrance of the festival.
The path is one km long and we did it in 30m. At the end of the walk you can go to the concert and have something to drink and eat, but we only wanted to get as far as possible from anymore crowds.
And, of course, we waited 15 more minutes to get back into our shuffle.
The technology and the concept is really nice, but it was certainly not worth the long waiting. And the magic was finished after only 1km; definitely too short.
We should get a medal 🏅 for the coolest parents 😂😂.
I hope they learn from this first experience and get better prepared for the following. I certainly learned not to go on a weekend 😜
