Today, after 10 long days of prolonged COVID quarantine for my son, we were finally able to get some fresh air during a walk, and enjoy the flowers blossoming all over.

I heard a lot about the cherry blossoms 🌸 in Ouchy, Lausanne and I didn’t want to miss it this year.

Even though I was expecting many more trees (there are literally 10 trees there), they were at their best. The pale pink petals are so beautiful; they give such a romantic touch.

This year the spring arrived few weeks in advance. The warm temperatures boosted the flowering and invited so many people to be out: enjoying a nice picnic, biking, roller skating, walking sunbathing and even swimming in the lake, for the most courageous.

It was a lovely 7km walk by the shore of Lake Leman. There were also lots of majestic Magnolias; my favorite tree!

You can add a visit to the Olympic Museum if you are around.
