Starting from the romantic medieval town of Romainmôtier in the Jura-Nord Vaudois (see dedicated post), the route follows the canal du Nozon and the gorges to finally come face to face with the enchanting Dard waterfall.
The dense vegetation will make you think of a rainforest. This place will withdraw you from the stress of the daily life and renew the sense of true values.
As my husband needs to rest and momentarily can’t do any effort, he stayed with my son on flat surface, and only my mother-in-law and I were able to enjoy the spectacle.
You can couple the visit with La Time de Conflens, another captivating waterfall not far from here (see also dedicated post) and of course Romainmôtier and La Sarraz towns.
