Yesterday, given the promising evening weather conditions, we took a last minute decision to go up to Caux and enjoy the sunset, have some good wine and a delicious dinner at Le Coucou restaurant.
Le Coucou is a charming historical Swiss chalet perched in the mountains 1,150m above Montreux. We loved the food quality, the unique atmosphere and the friendly service. Thanks Estelle!!
Coucou’s outside terrace offers a panoramic view of the lake Leman and the Alps.
It’s a great starting point for some hiking and biking trails. This is the reason I also chose to classify this post within the Free Activities. The fantastic hikes and views from up there are priceless 🙂. Likely, I decided to post this as an outdoors as well as indoors in case you chose to visit Le Coucou.
We would have loved to stay the night (as Coucou is almost an exclusive hotel), but they were fully booked.
