This is the first year that the Montreux Christmas market offers such an attraction.
From 26.11.2021 to 09.01.2022, you can visit this indoors, colorful, illuminated pathway on ice. It really changes from the typical oval ice rink. All the decorations add a bit of magic to the experience.
There’s an ice bar serving also alcoholic beverages and plenty of comfortable places to sit around.
The pathway offers several photo opportunities and full access to people without skates.
Skate rental is included in the admission price, however there are no helmets for children available.
The ice path is located inside the Montreux’s 2M2C Congress Centre.

Visitors aged 16 and over need a valid COVID certificate along with their ID card or passport. Children aged 12 to under 16 need only show an ID card or passport for age-checking purposes.
To avoid crowds, go early and/or during weekdays.
After skating we walked through the Christmas market and finished the evening with a tour on the wheel.
